Rest and Resistance: Restorative Everyday Activism for Tired People

November 30 | 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Want to help create change in your community but feeling exhausted and overwhelmed by the seemingly never-ending stream of bad things happening in the world?

So many of us are burnt out from our everyday work and life that it can feel like we are running on empty when it comes to building and sustaining powerful movements.

That’s why we are focusing on restorative practices and tools for activism. Whether you are a full-time activist or wanting to show up as an active ally, resisting the systems that burn us out and building resilience are key.

Join us for an evening of community, support, and short talks by our line up of experts sharing tangible tools to help you build a sustainable practice of resistance and resilience.

Speakers include:
Sharon Shorty, storyteller
Anna Schunda, Registered Psychotherapist at Compass Practice
Jennifer England, Master Integral Coach™ at Spark Coaching + Consulting
Natalie Pendergast, author of the 2023 comic book Partum Me,
Emily Hoefs and Kirsten Burrows of The Village Witch

Meet new folks who care about changing the world and engage with important issues in ways that fill your cup instead of deplete it.

Whether you are a full-time activist or wanting to show up as an active ally, this event will help you resist the systems that burn us out and build resilience.
